Overview
V-Y Plasty is a surgical technique used to advance skin and release tension. In urology, it is often used to lengthen the appearance of the penis by releasing the skin at the base or to correct scarring.
The Procedure
An incision is made in the shape of a V. The skin is then advanced and sutured in the shape of a Y. This lengthens the tissue along the axis of the incision.

- Correction of penoscrotal webbing

Recovery
The area will be dressed after surgery. Healing typically takes 2-3 weeks. Patients are advised to keep the area clean and dry and avoid strenuous activity.
